# Brief Builder

Intelligence Briefs transforms Insuraviews' comprehensive rate filing database into your personal market intelligence engine, delivering exactly the insights you need, when you need them.

**What it does:** Transform complex rate filing data into actionable insights with Insuraviews' new Intelligence Briefs feature. This powerful tool puts you in control of your market analysis by allowing you to generate customized summaries tailored to your specific business needs.

**How to use:**

1. Navigate to "Brief Builder"
2. **Select your Report Type:** Select the overall focus of your brief
 1. **Intelligence Briefs:** Analytical analysis with multiple lenses to generate a brief on specific trends
 2. **Objection Briefs:** Short and Long Form responses, focusing on objections and their responses within the selected filings
3. **Select your Analytical Lens:** Select the style of Brief you want to generate

 1. **General Market Intelligence:** traditional Intelligence Brief, focusing on competitor presence, filing volume and market expansion
 2. **Rate & Pricing Analysis:** trends in rate changes, pricing structures, and regulatory rate patterns
 3. **Form Trend Analysis:** trends in exclusions, coverage scope, and policy language
 4. **Keyword Deep Dive:** Find trends in usage patterns or evolution in language around this key word

**NOTE!** Keyword Deep Dives can be applied to any of the first 3 Analytical Lenses, as well as being a standalone lens.
4. **Select your Criteria:** Select the combination of Carriers, Line of Business, State, and Date Range to use for the generation of your brief.

Generated Briefs include lots of important information outside of the brief itself

1. **Header:** shows the selected analytical lens and applied filters for the current brief. Also shows the **Evidence Strength,** which is a rating applied to a brief based on filing volume, cross-carrier corroboration, and geographic consistency.

**NOTE!** The Evidence Strength score does not speak to the correctness or importance of the analysis shared, so confirmation and review are recommended for all generated briefs

2. **Right Sidebar:** shows additional details of the current brief, such as the count of included filings, carriers, and states, as well as other selected filters. Also has 2 options for modifying the generated brief through **Change Lens** and **Edit Scope**
 1. **Change Lens:** allows the user to change the selected lens of the brief to generate a new brief with a new lens
 2. **Edit Scope:** allows the user to edit the selected filters to fine tune the current analysis
3. **Filing References:** all filings included in the analysis are linked at the bottom of the brief, as well as linked throughout the body of the brief to ensure the insights shared are rooted in the filing information

**Key Benefits:**

* **Save time**: Eliminate hours of manual research with automated summary generation
* **Focus your analysis**: Zero in on the carriers, markets, and time frames that matter most to your business
* **Make informed decisions**: Access synthesized intelligence that reveals market trends and competitive strategies
* **Stay current**: Generate fresh briefs as new filings are added to our weekly-refreshed database
